MAIN FLOOR BACK BEDROOM REMODEL
The main floor back bedroom remodel was completed in 2018. This project was centered around a pair of antique doors with the original glass, hardware, etc. The intention was to put them on a track, however, the wall was not long enough.
After some careful creative redesigning, we determined that adding a second window in the room would provide more natural light, in addition to opening up the side wall which would allow the utilization of both of the antique doors. One of the doors was carefully mounted in the original entry door space like a fixed window and the other was then mounted. Not only did this allow more light, but it created more of an open, airy feel to the room that already felt closed off from the rest of the house.
This room was then enhanced with a coat of fresh new paint, baseboards and all trim for this room was custom made using original barnwood giving it a unique vibe.
